Royalties
← Back to glossaryDefinition
Royalties are secondary compensation related to the usage and exploitation rights of a model's images, beyond the initial work time compensation. These 'image rights' are received according to exploitation terms (duration, territory, media) and no longer require the model's presence. Royalties can represent a significant portion of income, particularly for widely distributed campaigns.
