Showroom
← Back to glossaryDefinition
A showroom is a privatized exhibition space where one or more designers present their new collections to a restricted professional audience (press, buyers, commercials). This more intimate approach than runway shows allows direct contact with the creations. Some showrooms are permanent, others are temporary (especially in luxury hotels during Fashion Weeks). Models present collections in a more personalized manner.
