A modeling agency in Berlin represents models to brands, magazines and fashion houses, and earns a commission on the fees you book, never on money you pay. I list 14 verified agencies in Berlin, Germany's creative capital.

I verify every agency by hand before adding it. As soon as a new one opens in Berlin, I'll let you know. No spam, only verified agencies that matter to you.
649 agencies already verified across 22 countries, and I add more regularly.
In Germany, placement is governed by the Social Code (SGB III). A placement contract between an agency (Vermittler) and a jobseeker must be in writing, the fee is due only on success once a real employment contract is concluded, and the agency is forbidden from demanding or accepting any advance (Vorschuss) on that fee (§296 SGB III). Agreements that charge for the placement services themselves, such as assessing the model, are void (§297 SGB III). An agency asking you upfront for a sedcard, photos or registration fees is therefore outside the law. The German consumer watchdog (Verbraucherzentrale) regularly warns against such fake agencies.
In Berlin, all 14 agencies I list represent both women and men. Berlin is a creative market driven by independent fashion, streetwear and a casting scene open to a wide range of profiles.
All 14 agencies I list in Berlin accept applications through an online form on their own website. You send recent, unretouched polaroids in natural light, with your measurements and date of birth. No professional book at this stage. If you hold an EU passport, you can work in Germany without a visa or work permit thanks to free movement. A non-EU national needs a work authorisation.
I built two tools to help you prepare a serious application in minutes.

If you hold an EU passport, no. Free movement lets you work in Germany without a visa or permit. Only non-EU nationals need a work authorisation.
No. §296 SGB III bars a placement agency from demanding or accepting an advance, and the fee is due only on success. A sedcard or registration fee asked for upfront is a scam signal.
A legitimate agency never asks you for an advance. In Germany §296 SGB III forbids it and §297 voids agreements that charge for placement services, so any upfront payment request is unlawful.
