Exclusivity
← Back to glossaryDefinition
Exclusivity is a contractual arrangement between a client and a model (via their agency) stipulating that the model will not work for competing brands during a defined period. This non-compete clause must be financially compensated. Agencies generally request territorial exclusivity from their models. Exclusivity protects clients' marketing investments and enhances brand image.
